Un japonés viviendo en el Aeropuerto de la Ciudad de México

En las últimas semanas, dentro de las noticias de "color" dentro de los diarios mexicanos ha aparecido la historia de Hiroshi Nohara (¿no se llama así el padre de Shin-chan?), un tokiota (¿así se les dice?) de 40 años de imagen desaliñada y barba crecida que lleva viviendo más de 70 días en el AICM (Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México).
Last weeks, between the miscelaneous notes of the mexican press has appeared the story ofm Hiroshi Nohara (Isn't that the name of Shin-Shan an anime character?) a 40 years old Tokyo guy that has been living the last 70 days in the Mexico City Airport.

De repente suena a historia de La Terminal aquella película dirigida por Steven Spielberg y estelarizada por Tom Hanks donde queda varado en el JFK de Nueva York mientras se producía un levantamiento armado en su país.
Suddenly this sounds like the "The Terminal" story, the Steven Spielberg movie with Tom Hanks where a guy is stucked in the NY JFK airport because of a Coup d' Etat in his country.

Hiroshi llegó al Aeropuerto el 2 de Septiembre de tránsito rumbo a Brasil pero no pudo viajar al perder su documentación, las autoridades de la Embajada de Japón en México le ayudaron a regularizar su situación pero se mantiene en el área de comidas de la Terminal 1 del AICM al considerarlo seguro.
Hiroshi arrived the Airport Sept 2 in transit to Brazil but couldn't complete the route cause he loose his papers, Japan embassy authorities in Mexico helped him get new papers but he still living in the Food Court of the Gate 1 of the Airport where he feels security.

Masayoshi Ono, primer secretario de Asuntos Culturales de la embajada comenta "Hablamos con él para que regresara a Japón. Primero pensamos que tenía problemas para viajar; sin embargo, él tiene dinero, tiene un boleto de regreso, tiene todo preparado en cuanto a documentos para poder salir de México.

Hola, buen día a todos, hoy voy a hablar un poquito de música, uno de los conceptos musicales que mas arraigo tuvo en Latinoamérica en los turbulentos años 60, a partir de los levantamientos sociales y las dictaduras de corte militar en Sudamérica fue la llamada canción de autor o de protesta, la cual adquirió distintos nombres o particularidades estilísticas dependiendo de su punto de referencia, desde la Nueva Trova Cubana que fue promovida desde la Casa de las Américas en La Habana por Haydée Santamaría, el Canto Nuevo sudamericano, o el Tropicalismo brasileño.
Hello everybody, today I'm gonna talk a bit about music, one of the most notorious music styles in Latinamerica during the wild 60's, during the social uprising and militar dictatorship in south america was the author song or protest song, that adquired many different names and style characteristics according the references points, from the Cuban New Trova promoted by Casa de las Americas (a Cuban Culture House) at Havana thanks to Haydee Santamaría or the Brazilian Tropicalismo.

¿A que viene todo este cuento en el blog de asuntos japoneses? a que hace unos meses a una de las listas de correos a las que pertenezco me llegó el video de un japonés interpretando "Venga la Esperanza" canción de Silvio, lo primero que hice fue mandar el link a un amigo cubano residente en Tokio para que le diera un vistazo y lo que me comentó es que usaba la misma música pero la letra no tenía nada que ver con la original, pero queda como una curiosidad jeje.
But, why is this guy talking about latin music in a japanese topics blog? because some months ago I saw a youtube video of a japanese guy singing "Venga la Esperanza" (Let's come hope (?)) a Silvio song, first thing I did is send the video to a cuban friend living in Tokyo to check it, he just said me that was using the same music but lyrics had no relation with the original, but this video still being a curiosity.

Haciendo Okonomiyaki お好み焼き - Cooking Okonomiyaki

Durante mi viaje por Japón uno de los platillos que más me gustaron fue el Okonomiyaki, tuve la oportunidad de probarlo en Kyoto y en Hiroshima.
During my travel by Japan one of my favorite dishes was the Okonomiyaki, I ate it at Kyoto and Hiroshima.

Existen distintos tipos de preparación de este plato, alguno marcados por la región donde se consume, uno nace de la combinación de harina, huevo, repollo, carnes varias, mariscos varios, mayonesa y salsa okonomiyaki, arriba suelen poner una clase de pescado rallado que por el momento se me escapa el nombre, existe otra forma de hacerlo donde a la preparacion se le agrega una clase de fideo (¿soba?) que da más consistencia al platillo.
There are many cooking styles for the dish, according the japanese zone, one of them is made of a flour, eggs, cabbage, meat, seafood, etc. mix and covered with mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce (something like bbq sauce) there is othe way to made where in the preparation you add a kind of pasta (soba) that made it more consistent.

El okonomiyaki es conocido como la pizza japonesa, pero yo le encuentro más forma de hot cake (pancake) jeje.

El fin de semana pasado andaba de antojo de okonomiyaki pero ninguno de los restaurantes japoneses en Monterrey (cuando menos los que conozco que no son pocos) lo manejan en el menú, así que tomé la iniciativa de hacerlo casero.
Last weekend I really wanted to eat Okonomiyaki but any of the japanese restaurants I know in Monterrey (Mexico) have them in the menu, so I tried to made it at home.

Hablando de nuevo de grupos musicales japoneses, hoy toca tratar a uno de los más influyentes de la última década Dir en grey (ディル アン グレイ).
Talking about new japanese music bands, now I'm going to write about one of the most influential grups of the last decade Dir en grey (ディル アン グレイ).

Esta banda de rock se formó en 1997, y ha estado en constante evolución, habiendo formado en sus inicios del movimiento "visual kei" ha optado por un estilo más discreto en los últimos tiempos, a la vez que se han enfocado en la calidad musical.
This rock band was founded at 1997 and has been in constant evolution, being at the beggining more a "visual kei" group they have taken a more discreet style the last years focusing in the music quality.

Las raíces de Dir en grey apuntan al grupo independiente La:Sadie's, en la cual participaban cuatro de los miembros de la banda, al disolverse y con la partida del bajista Kisaki, Kyō, Kaoru, Die y Shinya y un nuevo bajista Toshiya formaron por poco tiempo el grupo Deathmask, cambiando su nombre a Dir en grey en 1997 tras un show en Nagano.
Dir en grey roots are the independent band La:Sadie's, where four of the actual members took part, when the band was dissolved and the bass player Kisaki left them; Kyō, Kaoru, Die and Shinya and a new bass player Toshiya created a new band "Deathmask", changing the name to Dir en Grey at 1997 after a show in Nagano.

At 2000 Kyo, lead voice was hospitalized with audition problems when they had many concert compromises to support the release of the EP MACABRE, that had to be postponed. The "Tour 00 >> 01 Macabre" resume activities that same year and conclude the tour at the Nippon Budokan, a bit later the release of the single "Ain't afraid to die" at April 2001.

Las funciones de un blog - Why a blog?

Últimamente he padecido algo de falta de inspiración para escribir en este blog, ¿porqué?, demasiado trabajo, la labor de la Universidad, etc, que para los pretextos no me falta imaginación, jeje.

Cómo cuidar un ángel - How to take care an angel

El fin de semana pasado fui a una de las librería del Fondo de Cultura Económica (FCE) la cual es una de las editoriales más grandes de Latinoamérica, la cual depende del Gobierno Mexicano, yo buscaba un libro infantil, una de mis sobrinas se encuentra en la edad en que están aprendiendo a leer y yo buscaba algo que le sirviera de apoyo, y de paso empezara a tomar ese cariño por los libros que tiene su tío.
Last weekend I wet to a bookstore of the FCE (Economic Culture Fund)the is a press office, one of the biggest in latinamerica, that is part of the mexican government, I was looking for a children's book, one of my nephews is starting to read and I wanted to give her something to support the learning process, and in the way to star caring about books just like his uncle.

En el área de infantiles me encontré con un pequeño libro ilustrado con el título "Cómo cuidar un ángel" de Chihiro Nakagawa. El cual de manera gráfica cuenta la historia de una pequeña niña, Sachi, a quien sus padres no permiten tener mascotas y hace amistad con un amigo imaginario, un angelito, el cual se alimenta de las historias que día a día le va contando Sachi, el librito me gustó, espero que a mi sobrina le guste igual jeje.
In the children zone of the bookstore I found a small illustrated book named "how to take care of an angel" by Chihiro Nakagawa. Thas is a story about a little girl, Sachi, that her parents don't let her to have pets so she made a nice friendship with an imaginary friend, a small angel that feeds of the stories that day by day Sachi tells him, I really liked the book, I hope my nephew likes it too hehe.

Pues la noticia de ayer fue la de un extranjero nadando desnudo por el canal que rodea el Palacio Imperial en Tokio, los primeros reportes señalaban al tipo como español, y mientras los amigos españoles se lamentaban me daba un enorme alivio de que esta vez no eramos nosotros, entre los incidentes diplomáticos en Francia (Remember L'Arc de Triomphe), los reportes escandalosos de la televisión española sobre estudiantes mexicanos dando espectaculo en las noches madrilistas (la mayoría estudiantes de mi Universidad) o las aventuras guerrilleras de estudiantes de la UNAM en Sudamérica (MARULANDA!!!), ya nos veían con desconfianza en los aeropuertos del mundo.
Yesterday news were about a foreigner swimming completely naked in the river outside the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, first info in the web says that was a Spain guy, and while my Spain friends said, oh sh**!! I felt a relief that was not a fellow countryman, between the diplomatic incidents at Paris (Remember L'Arc de Triomphe), the scandal reports of the Spain TV about the mexicans in the Madrid bars or the guerrilla adventures of the National University students in South America, people is starting to distrust in the world's airports.
